Coca-Cola is a global icon and well known for their soda line. It only makes sense that this brand would find a new way to make their current customers feel special and attract potential new customers. The Share a Coke Campaign started in 2014 and was a huge success. Coca-Cola simply placed 150 most popular names on a Coke bottle. This campaign helped increase revenue and volume growth for the company just by putting a name on a soda bottle. This campaign was executed across the globe and was successful all over the world.  According to the Coca-Cola website the campaign idea came about in their offices in Sydney in 2011.  Coca-Cola wanted to set a global trend where self-expression and sharing was executed but in an emotional way. The Coca-Cola brand found substantial growth in their earned media. According to the Coca-Cola website there were in 2014, “998 million impressions on Twitter, 235,000 tweets from 111,000 fans using the #ShareaCoke hashtag and 17,000 virtual name bottles shared online across Europe.” The campaign did so well that now they offered the option where people can make customized orders with the personalized names on a case of 6 Coke bottles.
