In an attempt to raise money for an expansion allowing for new activities, The Lincoln Children’s Museum is hosting a 5k followed by a mac n’ cheese feed on April 1,2017 for $10 a ticket. They are targeting parents and their young children with this event as that’s the demographic that is most apt to visit the museum. 100% of the proceeds will go back to remodeling the Lincoln Children’s Museum where those parents can take their children once it’s finished by 2017. The Children’s Museum has taken to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to invite families to post either pictures or short blurbs about how the Lincoln Children’s Museum has brought their family closer, all using #LCMBringsUsCloser.
