2015 was a big year for Under Armour. Many of the clients were at the top of their respective sport including NBA MVP Stephen Curry. Stephen Curry emerged as one of the most exciting and talented players in the NBA, and Under Armour took advantage of his recent success by launching the “Rule Yourself” campaign this past August.
The campaign also focused on other athletes such as Jordan Spieth and Tom Brady. Specifically with Stephen Curry, the campaign ran with the tagline “You are the sum of all your training”. This ad focused mainly on how the results of your performance stem from your training and Under Armour has the tools to enhance your training. The main ad was a 30 second TV spot, but there were also print ads.
