Reebok has decided to remind people why they are a company in their new advertisement. Last weekend in Stockholm, the brand put up an outdoor ad that tracked peoples pace while walking pas the kiosk/ad. Anyone who ran past the ad faster than 10.5 miles per hour unlocked a brand new pair of ZPump 2.0 shoes. This ad adds interactive value and it rewards you with shoes that are absolutely not free and it gives you an incentive to stop and observe the ad. Reebok is definitely trying to keep superfans, current customers and also the interactive part to this advertisement, it could also, very effectively, attracted new or interested customers. Asics has done similar ads for years so I think that Reebok is trying to keep pace with other athletic brands.
