Tom&Chee is located right in the heart of downtown Lincoln, NE.  Tom&Chee is the grilled cheese and tomato soup shop for the kid at heart, mixing classic comfort food with fresh ingredients, healthy alternatives, and a flare for the unexpected.  This company offers a variety of food including: grilled cheese donuts, 25+ different sandwiches, fresh salads and three different tomato soups.  Tom&Chee has recently opened here in Lincoln, NE, but a lot of people don’t know about this new restaurant.  By spreading the word about Tom&Chee, I would target college students, who mainly eat out downtown since it is so close to campus.  By doing this, I think it would be beneficial to try and target this audience by coming up with something creative, fun and hip to college students these days.  If I had to use owned media to for this company, I would somehow try and create a grilled cheese emoji that could be used on any smart phone.  You could only use this emoji after you post a picture of yourself eating the Tom&Chee on any form social media.  Emojis today are used on mainly Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, which are the main social media outlets that would be targeted.  By owning the new grilled cheese emoji, this will generate brand awareness by targeting college students of this new company.
