Hyundai decided to create an app using The Walking Dead: Chop Shop to get people into their brand. The apps is a game that allows people to build a vehicle and try to survive. This was done because even though Hyundai was doing well as a brand overall the demographic of millennials. The Walking Dead is one of the largest shows on cable and was a good way to generate interest for the brand. It was so effective that they were able to generate more buzz than their last app they created.
