Every year Lincoln has a weekend long festival produced by NGR Media. The different events held during this weekend are promoted by radio stations in the area. It gives the citizens of Lincoln something to look forward to every year and to help out local businesses. They usually get one to two performers to headline the festival. One of them usually being a well known country artist. Celebrate Lincoln used to be held in downtown Lincoln out in the streets but since last year they have moved it to Lincoln’s new arena, Pinnacle Bank Arena. Each year numbers grow and the talk about the event is increased. The main idea of the event is to kick off the summer by bring the community together and promoting local businesses.
