In this blog post I wanted to talk about the YMCA. I’ve always liked the Y and recently they’ve been coming out with a lot of really cool ads that tell so much more about what they’re all about.
They are more than just a place to work out or swim. It’s a place for kids to go when they have no place to go which is something I never even thought about before either.
This particular ad is about how the YMCA is “deeper” than a pool. This is an extension of their overall larger campaign that I mentioned earlier. It was a play on words but I think it really got the message across in an impact-full way without being cheesy or anything like that. This is an example of print paid media. It’s short, sweet and to the point.
