World BBC: See both sides of the story

Brand Purpose: The brand purpose of the BBC is to educate readers about the news in an unbiased way.

Why: The mainstream media tends to focus on one side of a news story. The BBC is trying to persuade consumers there are two sides to every story.

What: The company used imagery from world events to grab the attention of the public. They then placed the image on corner boards to show the different takes of the same situation. It adds a personal element to world events.

Where: The billboards are paid media because the BBC paid for the billboard space.

Audience Insight: The billboards try to persuade consumers to have a connection with world events.
